August 9th order shipped from China

Anyone else have their order shipped directly from China? SUZHOU CN specifically. That's what my tracking shows. I presume chefsteps ran out of stock in WA and the next load from China by ship would miss the deadline for end if November. Thanks chefsteps for the extra expense of drop shipping them directly from China so they get here before the end of November!

Mine shows shipment from Auburn, Washington. I live on the east coast (Baltimore area) so expected delivery is 7 days. Do you have a reasonable expected delivery date?

Yeah it's shipping by FedEx International Priority so it will be in Utah by Friday (it left China on Tuesday). That shipping mode ain't cheap.

I've got Suzhou as well, but at least it's moving! (went from Suzhou to Shanghai overnight). I still have estimated delivery for 17th to PA, with it going to sleep on the 15th in China, so we'll see!

Man... Sounds to me like Chefsteps is cutting into their profit margins (by paying for faster shipping) to get more people their joule for Thanksgiving. If that's what they're doing, I'm really impressed.

I got my notification this morning. Shipped 11/15 from Seattle to arrive by/on Monday, 11/21. It seems that perhaps CS is doubling the effort and shipping from home base and directly from the mfg in China to make sure most....if not all....orders are filled in time for Thanksgiving.

But then, that's just the kind of team they are! ROCK ON CS!!

Received notice last night that mine was shipping from China via FedEx International Priority. Due to arrive in MI on 11.22.16. Can't wait!

I'm also an August 9 pre-order and I'm keeping fingers crossed that my shipping confirmation arrives soon! We're hosting a bunch of family for Thanksgiving next week and I'm holding out a small sliver of hope that I have it time!
