This just happened... Gourmet whip series after only the third use. Any idea what might be causing the gas leak? The black rubber gasket looks fine to me...

@Lennard-Not sure if you are just not showing it, but there should also be a gasket that seals the lid from the container.

@red yeah that gasket is there, I took it out to show that the tiny black gasket is intact

We've had this happen with numerous canisters at work, sometimes it's some residue not making a full seal -- soak and scrub and rinse well. Sometimes it's how the nozzle screws on as It affects the mechanism that pulls the gasket tight.
