Suggestions for larger sous vide containers
Jay_Sit_301369
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to see what containers some of you are using for larger meats like brisket/pork shoulder. My buddy in the food industry recommended Cambro. Any thoughts?

I have a ton of these plastic boxes from IKEA. I use them for sous vide cooking large quantities/ larger meat.

Cambro have been the norm for quite some time, they hold up really well, easy to clean, food safe rated if I remember correctly.

Currently using the Cambro 15L for a 36 hour brisket (~12lbs)t. Got it a a local restaurant supply shop. Also, I've been successful in picking up used coolers from garage sales for around $10-15.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm going to try hunting down a nice cooler at a thrift store this weekend. Bought a nice 8lb pork shoulder!
