
Joule arrived on Wednesday and it was a joyous occasion. Due to an extremely busy schedule this week the first cook had to wait until today. This morning I cooked three eggs using the "poached eggs" recipe in the app and used the suggestion of putting the eggs in almost boiling water for a minute after the cooking time was up in order to solidify the white. This was a horrendous mistake. Once the eggs were cracked, the white split from the yolk as it was strongly attached to the shell. Won't try that again.
So this evening I cooked the "ultimate chicken thigh" recipe, which turned out much better. Nice crispy skin and tender chicken. It was delicious. Looking forward to more cooks with Joule in the future.
