I am in love with my Joule, but so far I'm only in like with the app

I would love the ability to make the alerts more noticeable, I often am doing so many things while starting a cook that I'll miss that notification that the bath is ready. Maybe it's just due to me typically being on silent mode, but I don't notice the alert. If it could repeatedly vibrate until acknowledged or ignore the silent mode of the phone or both, it'd be easier to not miss a notification.

Alternately if the water ready notification were to have a timestamp, I'd be able to modify the cook time accordingly and start with the protein in the water.

Hi Duane you have some very good suggestions. I find that going to the top left and clicking on the menu and going to support and click on "Submit a Support Request" is the fastest and best way to communicate that with ChefSteps. While they do monitor the forum, they will much more quickly see your suggestion sending it directly.

On my iPhone I use Siri to set a timer or alarm. (It is the only thing I use Siri for, it saves clicking and swiping.) Also I use the Timer+ app because it can keep the phone on so I don't have to swipe with greasy hands.

Hi Eric, Great idea on Timer+ app. The alert that I would love to be more noticeable is the temp ready alert, rather than the cook done alert. That way I can drop the bags in as soon as it's ready. Or better yet, drop the bag in while it's coming up to temp. Get the alert while I'm making a store run so I can start the timer immediately since the food is already in the bath. Or perhaps a better solution would be an option to have the meat in the bath as part of the recipe so it handles the timer start automatically.
