Too rich for my blood. I still want one, and would get one in a heartbeat if I had a commercial kitchen or bar. I hope they presell enough units to make it into production. The preorder price is much, much lower than the final retail price will be.

Interesting, kind of resembles a milk/cream separator. Apparently no need to balancing, that's great. I wonder, though, how it deals with mixtures that separate into more than two layers.

Nearly 17% funded in about 20 hours. I haven't ordered yet but am leaning towards it. The FB Live demo was pretty cool and Dave was pretty transparent in respect to his process for designing and manufacturing. It was informative and not just a sales demo as I thought it might be.

"Fear of loss" is what will push me to order as the sales get nearer to 1000 units. $300 off list is a strong motivator!

I'm surprised at how much the crowdfunding has slowed down. I would've though there would be lots of bars and restaurants out there that would jump at the chance. At this rate, with ~5-10 new pledges every 24 hours, it will fall way short.

Let's hope there's a holiday rush in the upcoming weeks. I'm watching it closely and indeed the dropoff is a little disheartening and surprising. I expected this to sell out within a week. Maybe they need help with marketing.

I was in early (not quite as fast as you) and hope it makes it. On the other hand, I still have some 'splaining to do at home - or maybe I don't.
