We're putting together a community page on Facebook to share Joule recipes, tips, and delicious food photos.

We're not an official group, but a few of us have been finding that some of our new friends with Joules might not come to the forums, but are still hungry for information and community. We're hoping this fills a niche, and ChefSteps has kindly offered to give us a hand if we need it.

What is the "state of the community"? (Perhaps more broadly, the state of the forums?) I can see why people don't come, the forums feel somewhat neglected by people with "works at ChefSteps". Grant, Chris, Michael, etc. used to post here regularly but there doesn't seem to be much attention here relative to other media outlets. For example Grant's FB hangouts.

There have been several discussions about upgrading forum software, because the current software has limitations (post threading, stickies, post history, lack of messaging, etc) that tend to exacerbate certain kinds of community problems. They're working on it, but they have a lot of things on their plate right now, so other things have been prioritized ahead of this work in the stack rank. You can find several discussions of this nature in the Feature Requests section.
