where to buy in Manhattan

I'm going to travel to Manhattan at the begining of September, and I'm thinking on shopping around some gadgets for my kitchen. Maybe a knives set, a vinturi wine oxigenator (much cheaper in the US than in EU), and proably a Polyscience circulator.

Any recommendation for shops to go in Manhattan?

JB Prince -- what a toy store and make sure to pick up a Grey Kunz saucing spoon. I'm lucky its one block from my office.

I enjoyed walking through The Bowery. Far more commercial stores than JB Prince, but I really like it down there. I find the prices are extremely fair for NYC.
