Passe vite "wiper blade"??

Hey guys,

I just got a new passe vite. They supplied a "wiper blade" with the unit. It came without a manual and I cannot figure out what I am supposed to do with it. It is a clip on "wiper".

Any clues?? Thanks!

What brand and model is it? if it's anything like the all clad, this video may be useful

It clips on the bottom to scrape the food after it has come through the holes. It should be curved to match the shape of the round plates.
