The big clip

How's that big clip coming along? I have a 10lb rib roast that needs my big Cambro, and am planning on using my Polyscience for the purpose. Joule drowns in there, and using the magnet on a can is a janky workaround. I'd like to sell the PS but will keep it around for big cooks until the big clip is available.

Yeah I would like the clip as well. You could Macgiver it with a coat hanger hooked over the side then slip Joule over that... sort of like a ten speed handlebar shape.

While we're on the subject of need, how about moving forward on running multiple Joules with one device? I've got Bob, Bob Jr and last week Bob the Successor arrived. I can't even use Bob the S and that makes me sad......

Hey, hey.....I thought the can idea was a good workaround.....ok it's janky but without the big clip what you going to do?

The can isn't a bad workaround for short cooks, but the one time I've done it, the can started to develop some rusty spots (after 3 hours at 90C). Maybe that was the high temp... maybe it was a crap can... maybe my water's weird. But I'd prefer not to use the can at all. One of the best things about Joule is that it's so small, I rarely even need to bust out a big container (which was all I ever really used with the Polyscience). But sometimes, the big container is all that will do. I suppose I could buy a biggish lexan with a thin rim, but I don't need another bin around my house.

Totally agree....just giving you a bad time, lol. I want a big clip too. Please! @Chris_Young_80640 mentioned it was in the works a while ago. Wonder if there is an update?
