@HammeredChef DEFINITELY does NOT work at ChefSteps ...or anyone who uses Joule with Echo....how do I get Alexa to talk to me in Celsius? I've attempted to change the settings in the Alexa app. I get my weather in Celcius, but Joule temp is still in Fahrenheit. I would prefer it the other way around.

When I set Joule, via Alexa I say, "Alexa set Joule for 55 degrees Celsius" Alexa sets Joule to 55°C. No settings, I just say the degree and Celsius, if I just say set for 131 without saying anything else it sets for Fahrenheit. Hope that helps.

Right. I can ask in C...no prob. And Alexa sets temp correctly. But when I ask for the status. Alexa only reports in F.

Frank, this command should work: "Alexa, ask Joule to default to Celsius"
