Missing posts again (again)

My replies are missing to the last 5 threads I posted in. This crap happens all the time. I'm close to fed up. Perhaps it's the member berries speaking, but I miss the old forum that was easy to browse, search, and explore... and it had the added benefit of your comments not disappearing randomly.

Know what makes you not want to reply to questions? The possibility that your answer will be thrown into the void.

Srsly. Dafuq.

I used to think the problem was related to how many replies a thread already had; if there were a bunch of comments, it seemed more likely that your reply wouldn't post. That may be true, but two of the threads I'm talking about currently have zero comments.

I wasn't around when the old forum was in use. The current forum can get confusing sometimes. Example: I first open the forum (http://www.chefsteps.com/forum). I would click a category (say "Announcements") and then click "Back". The URL goes back to the previous address, but the page doesn't change (still shows "Announcements" instead of forum starting page). It's not intuitive. I often end up clicking back enough times to leave ChefSteps' forum because of the described behavior.

Yup me to! Man sometimes it takes three or four tries! I think I posted to someone's reply and look hours later waiting for a response to see mine never stuck.

I got bit with this one the other day to the tune of pages and pages of explanation. I was less than pleased.

Not only have I had posts vanish but I've also had emails go unanswered. My first joule had to be returned for exchange, worked fine a few times then died. I opened a ticket and was contacted via email. The replacement went smoothly, I was communicating via the original email they sent me using the reply button. However when I thanked them for their prompt reply and also asked a question about the warranty I never heard from them again. Sent the email again and nothing but silence. Did the email vanish and they never read it? Are warranty questions another departments responsibility? Was I exchanging email with a robot that was giving me canned txt but had no way to answerer a warranty question? My happiness quotient is in a downward spiral.
