Power outage / electrical short circuit caused by Joule

Hi, I've had my Joule for the last few months and I love it. However, in the last couple of days, it has started to short circuit my electricity and blow out the fuse. The last few times I have tried to turn it on, it does it straight away.

Has this ever happened to anyone? It worked fine for ages and only just started to do so in the last few days. The funny thing I have noticed when I took off the cap and the propellor is that when I shake it can hear some liquid inside the Joule. I have never totally submerged it or dropped in the water beyond the advised point.

Would appreciate any help/advice with this.

It sounds like water might have gotten in there somehow. Might not be a bad idea to submit a help ticket through the app.

Mine routinely trips my GFI outlets in my kitchen. I generally put it on a non GFI circuit in order to cook things for extended periods of time as I don't want to lose product. I'm not sure if that's a wiring problem on my end or something else - I've had 2 different joules with the same problem.

My joule trips the circuit and I am uncomfortable switching to a regular non GFI. is there something else I can do. Its on a 20 amp.

Didn’t have problem with 2 units with 60-65C for more than 6 months but short circuit when I tried 95/85C (2 times) just now, had to get service fuse replaced on meter board. Will update if my Joule still give problem at the usual 60-65C.
