Suggestion to ChefSteps for Joule Ready sauces

Hi ChefSteps,

As far as I can tell, there is no way to access the recommended dish recipes for the new Joule Ready sauces on the website or in the Joule app, except in the latter case by scanning the code on the package of the particular sauce in question.

It would be great if there was some way to access the recipes in the app without scanning first, since I could then look at the ingredient list while I am shopping at the grocery store (even though I forgot to scan the code first at home).

I'm not sure what version of the app you have, but the one i have has a "Joule ready" section that has several different sauce options with recipes when you select the option.

Maybe see if there's any update available?

I wanted to use the lemon beurre blanc tonight. I have flounder. No recipes for that fish. Im not familiar with seafood and couldnt figure which fish recipe to use. Black cod or trout or any of the few other listed. Ok. I decided just to use the sauce and sauté the fish in a pan and heat the sauce and just pour the sauce on the fish. No indication of time and temp just for the sauce. I bought many of these sauces to try but there is precious little info except cook it sous vide and enjoy. Suggestions, times, temps? Nothing. I would think especially seafood would have lots of fish recipes listed given you are in Seattle.

And now that the sauces have been discontinued, it would be great if ChefSteps published the recipes for them.

Hi David, yes the sauces are no more.. but we will be publishing the make at home versions in the next month.
