Email addresses with a + are rejected when creating an account without error message

I tried creating a ChefSteps account with an email address of the following format: "myname+something@example.com". When I hit next on the keyboard, indicating that I wanted to create my account, I got forwarded to the login page. Then when I tried to login with that supposedly "created" account, it says it didn't exist and I didn't receive any confirmation email. When doing the same thing with the email of the format "myname@example.com" everything worked out as it was supposed to and it forwarded me to setting me up with my Joule.

Just an fyi, I'd email them directly. They rarely come here unless something gets reported. Emailing them gives you a better chance of them being made aware of your issue.
