I came back at the end of a 1.5 hour cook time to find my unit had shut down, cooling the water into the danger zone. When I noticed the temp was low, I checked my phone. My phone was in battery saving mode, which limits WiFi connectivity while it's locked. Once I unlocked it, I got a message from the Joule app about the unit losing connection--unfortunately I was distracted by hoping to rescue my steak so did not write it down. I should mention that during this time, the network connectivity in the house never faltered on other devices, and there was no power loss. This has never happened to me before, and my understanding is that Joule should not stop just because my phone disconnected. Is my unit defective? Why has this happened? It's shaken my trust and I'm having serious reservations about using it again until I understand what went wrong and how to prevent it in the future.
