Auto-completion of names

Is there a way for us to be able to auto-complete names when trying to @ respond to another user. I am finding it's hard to remember the spelling of some of the names of our users but also that for users with spaces in their names it does not show up as a notification and only links the first word in the name.

Heard back from the already - it is on their future-plans list but no date. I'm also bugging them about the fact that times are displayed as GMT if you are logged out, btw. (Pointed out by Nick & Ben.)
