Scaling in user generated recipes
Matt_67991
How do you get a number appearing in the descriptive text in a user generated recipe to scale with the other ingredients? I think I might remember something about the [ ] characters, but I don't remember the specific syntax. Maybe a little document describing some less obvious features like that might be helpful?

Correct, we call those a shortcode. For weight, they are always in grams, like [g 100].
Here are all of them
[c 50] - temp in centigrade
[f 50] - temp in fahrenheit
[cm 100] - length in centimers, also [mm 50]
[g 100] - weight in grams
[fetchIngredient activa-gs] - inserts a nice card showing a preview of an ingredient
[fetchActivity banana-bread] - inserts a nice card showing a preview of a recipe

I tried making a recipe

The gram shortcode works well, but the length shortcode gives weird results when you click on it to convert it (NaN), and I typed "We also like our [fetchActivity walnut-pesto] or a [fetchActivity cured-lemon-peel] as a garnish." but the cards didn't show up.

I think the shortcode is still missing from the soaked beans in the baked beans recipe.
