Font not rendering cleanly on Chrome

Hopefully the attached screenshots show this, in Chrome parts of some characters are "chopped", not the case in IE. Now I look at them side-by-side it it looks to be only the letter "e" that is getting chomped, although the overall "solidity"(?) of the font on IE is stronger than Chrome. Just my machine?

Thanks for reporting this. Are you in Windows? Can you describe your setup a bit more?

Sure, Windows 8.1, Chrome 36, IE 11, what other details would help?

I did some research and found that it's a Chrome bug known since 2009. It'll be fixed in Chrome 37 this month but until then I'll find a workaround.

I'm having the same experience, same software.

I'm experiencing the same problem with Firefox on a Windows computer :-(
