I've noticed that when you click the "(more)" link there's no way to get it to go back to less. I'm thinking of it the way that YouTube descriptions work where you can show the description and then hide it/shorten it once more. It may be something to consider if people change their mind about reading a whole post, or want to make it smaller when they finish reading it.
