arcane bug when adding links to forum posts

I'd put this as low priority, but I'm reporting the bug anyway:

when I add a URL link to a forum post, I first highlight the word I want to make into a link. A box pops up allowing me to cut and paste a URL; it's pre-filled with something incorrect (that's not the bug). I begin to select the text to paste my URL from the clipboard, and - here comes the bug - swoosh, I'm scrolled to the very top of the webpage. So I have to scroll down and find my text-entry box again, which is tricky if I'm in a long thread.

We do luuuuuuv feedback, but I can't recreate your issue in Chrome or Firefox! What browser are you having this issue in? Or is it on mobile?

Safari, and it could be a Safari thing. I suppose I can't send a screenshot because it'd require a movie... if you're really wanting to see it I'd be happy to screenshare at some point. I'll try it on Chrome from here and see if I can repeat it.

aaaaaand I can't repeat it this morning. I swear I repeated it five or six times last night, but I didn't try other browsers or restarting. I'll keep an eye out and ping you here if I see it again.

You can make a movie using QuickTime Player > File > New Screen Recording.
