Questions about the forum pages:
Where do I go to look at members' profiles without having to find someone's name and then only being able to go to their profile and not a general place where all profiles live?
Is there a way to just look at a list of topics within headings so I can know, without reading the entire thread, if my questions have already been asked and answered? I have tried the search function but it does not seem to work well (if at all).
I have been working on a list of ingredients to order from the Modernist Pantry so that when I place an order I have things on hand that I have read about on CS. I wish that the CS site included a modernist shopping list including a list of tools, machines and special ingredients with notations on what recipe the food items are used, so that shopping/buying could be made easier. I thought that the ingredient Wiki would do this but it is so hard to reach the wiki - the only way I know how to do that it is go into each recipe one by one.
Please pardon me if I am just plain dumb about this stuff. You see, I was born in an era of IBM Selectrics, telephones that required wires, manually operated adding machines and TV's and radios that had tubes! In college, I had a job as a "Key Punch Operator!" (Anybody know what that was?) ;-))
