Course outline disappears???

Any idea why the course outline regularly and repeatedly appears and then disappears?

I'm running Xubuntu, the same thing occurs in both Google Chrome and Chromium.

Hmm. Nope! Haven't seen that before. Can anyone else reproduce this? @DiggingDogFarm, does it appear and disappear while you are just sitting there? Clicking on something? Just occasionally after you reload the page?

It seems to be largely random, but sometimes, it's there when the page is in the process of loading and then it disappears when the page is finished loading.

Hmm. I'm pretty stumped on that one. I don't have any ubuntu boxes laying around to test it on. Well, the site is getting a pretty big revamp soon, maybe we'll get lucky and the problem will vanish.

I noticed the site update, so I cleared the browser cache and data.

The problem persists, and appears to be worse....loading is sometimes slow and the javascript menus don't always perform correctly.

I peruse a lot of websites with the same operating system and browser and haven't encountered the same problems elsewhere, so I don't think it's my set-up.

Another thought, it was quite some time before I realized that there was a problem, although I did scratch my head at lack of some type of an outline.

You can't see what's not there! LOL

It may be happening to others and they don't realize it.

@DiggingDogFarm Thank you for the bug report! The course page received some minor updates but overall, it's still the same page. Our designer is currently working on a redesign for courses but I think its actually related to the image slideshow on the course page.
