The website is very resource heavy

I absolutely love this website but it's a resource hog! Being an web dev myself, the size of your core JS is outrageous. The website performs fine on my laptop, but my iPad mini (1st gen) struggles and Safari often crashes when using the site. I don't want to sound condescending or patronising, but I can't figure out which functionalities would require so much resources.

I know this is a very broad "bug" report, but I think we'd all like some feedback on whether or not you're working on significantly improving our experience.

I've noticed it's a bit resource heavy as well, but mostly on my ipad (first version-app doesn't work, but if I try to use the website). I'm not a developer, so am uncertain what would be required. A little lighter would be "nice" (and possibly faster??), however, since the biggest difference in on a device that is well........not so modern :-) not sure if I can complain that much. :-).

I think I read somewhere, this is still in beta- I know they're always looking for talent, perhaps you could throw your name in the hat.

Guys, it's good that there are so many web developers and guys who really understand something. I have a question about link shortening. In some sources, I find information that shortening links is very important and useful. Other sources write that the most effective way to distribute malware is through links. So is it worth using a link shortening service https://www.capsulink.com/ or not? Guys, I'm waiting for your advice. Thank you all in advance.
