Google Login for ChefSteps and Joule Android App
Alison_Gravley_178044
I use Google login for pretty much everything and I am one of the scary folks that does not have a Facebook account. I can use Google login on the website now, but it is missing from the android apps.

If you can log on here, you already have one. It's the same user name and password for this site.

I don't remember how the original registration worked, but I have 2 ways I can log in on the website, and both work:
1. Email Address and some Password I forget. Note that password is not same as google!
2. An inconsistently showing google login where if I push the button I am done (assuming I am logged into google)
There is an API for this on android as well that would be nice to integrate into the app.
To expand on point 2 a little more, if you go to chefsteps.com and click on the login button it brings up this dialog that only has the facebook one. If you look at the address bar, it stays chefsteps.com
If you go to something like chefsteps.com/forum and click the login button, it brings up this dialog that has facebook and google. If you look at the address bar, it is chefsteps.com/sign-in.
There is also some strangeness after a login from the sign-in page, it doesn't quite auto-refresh as it should. Here is the steps I took to get this odd blank page:
1. Go to some forum page while logged out
2. Click on the sign in link to join discussion, goes to chefsteps.com/sign-in page
3. Login as usual
4. Strange blank page is shown, if I hit browser refresh button it is back to forum page I was on.

click the forgot password link perhaps?

That isn't my point. My point is there is a google sign in button on one page, but not another. It is also missing from the app. To me this is a bug, thus I am reporting it.
