No notifications in the Android Joule app?

I just tried my first recipe with Joule (it was fun!). When it was done I heard a very faint sound from the Joule app, which was in the background, and that was it.

I was expecting the app to not make a noise itself and instead to send a notification. This looks like a feature on the iOS app but not the Android one. Could you add this? This is the right way to do things, and on Android your notification could do cool stuff like have a "Stop" button to stop Joule.

You can report these or request new features in the Joule app itself. Under Support, "Submit a support request ", these are tracked and you can get feedback. There is also a list of known bugs. The development team monitors those requests much more closely than here in the forum.

There are notifications in the Android app. I think you may have a permissions problem, or another issue...

Any details on device or Android version?

My app on my iphone also did not notify me that I could hear (or read). This is the only draw back to Joule though.
