Disconnecting mid Sous Vide

love this tool! Love the platform that supports it and everything Chefsteps are doing.

Just one issue with walking away from the Joule and losing cooking time and control of what's happening... Am I just missing something very obvious? Thanks all

You can control temp from anywhere and monitor it from anywhere.

If you are loosing connection is you Joule connected to WiFi? It should be a seamless handoff from Bluetooth to WiFi and back when you are in Bluetooth range. In the Joule app, click the three bars top left, settings>device settings second from the bottom should be your WiFi connection. If it's not connected click troubleshoot connection.

I'm pretty sure that all communication between devices goes through ChefSteps servers for your pleasure. But you do have to have signal! ... bt, lte, or wifi
