Anyone anticipating a black friday sale this year? I am looking to buy the joule and was probably going to buy a used one, just because of the price point. However my plan right now is to just wait and see if there are any deals on new ones, which is my preference. Did they do a black friday/cyber monday sale last year?…
You might have answered that question a million times already, but would you have any timeframe for Joule availability overseas (At least in Europe)?
Since I don't (yet) have a Joule or water bath, is it possible to sous vide in a hot cupboard? I'm doing BBQ lamb and was wondering if I could hold the lamb, bagged and marinaded of course, in a bath in the hot cupboard at approx 60'C, prior to grilling?
